Pairing the haunting harmonies of the mountains with modern energy and storytelling, The Laurelys began in 2020 as a Newport, Kentucky-based duo comprised of husband and wife Laura and Ely Beyer.
In addition to the duo’s intricate harmonies and clawhammer banjo, Terry Schram and Joseph Kaiser Herrmann add drums and bass, giving The Laurelys a sound that blends their folk roots with elements of rock, indie, blues, and Americana.
